Vancouver Canucks goalie Jacob Markstrom had to be resourceful after losing his blocker and stick during the second period against the Winnipeg Jets on Monday.
Markstrom lost some of his equipment during a scrum in front of the net as a shot by Jets forward Alexander Burmistrov trickled into the crease, but the Canucks goalie lunged for the puck with his bare hand and covered it up.
Markstrom made 24 saves in a 5-2 loss to Winnipeg at Rogers Arena.
