Jackson and Poulter tally two points each as Cougars beat Bruins 4-1 @NHLdotcom

PRINCE GEORGE, B.C. - Dallas Jackson and Alex Poulter each had a goal and an assist to pace the Prince George Cougars to a 4-1 win over the Chilliwack Bruins in WHL action Friday night.

Poulter and Jackson scored in the second period to end a scoreless draw, and Kevin Sundher, with his first WHL goal, replied for the Bruins before the period was over. Marek Viedensky and captain Dana Tyrell, with his first of the season, scored in the third period for Prince George.

Kevin Armstrong stopped 24 shots for his fourth win of the season, and second win this season over the Bruins. Rookie goaltender Lucas Gore, who recorded the first assist of his major-junior career, faced 35 shots.

The two B.C. Division teams meet again Saturday night at CN Centre.
