Iwanski scores 3:23 into second OT as Lethbridge edges Kootenay 2-1 @NHLdotcom

CRANBROOK, B.C. - Daniel Iwanski scored 3:23 into the second overtime period to lift the Lethbridge Hurricanes to a 2-1 win over the Kootenay Ice in WHL playoff action Wednesday.

Lethbridge has a 3-1 series lead and hosts Game 5 on Friday. The Hurricanes opened the scoring on a power-play goal by Dwight King, who was left open in the slot and scored on a wrist shot high on the blocker side.

Steve DaSilva tied the game 1-1 for the Ice in the second period after a Lethbridge giveaway.

Juha Metsola stopped 28 shots for the win while Kris Lazaruk made 43 saves in a losing effort.
