Forward Micheal Haley and defensemen Ty Wishart and Dylan Reese all accepted their qualifying offers from the New York Islanders on Friday, agreeing to one-year, two-way deals.
Haley, a 25-year-old center, split the season between the Islanders and their AHL affiliate in Bridgeport. He had 2 goals and 1 assist in 27 NHL games, along with 85 PIM. He also played 67 games with the Sound Tigers, going 6-8-14 with 196 PIM.
Wishart, a 23-year-old former first-round pick by San Jose, came to the Isles in a Jan. 1 trade that sent goaltender Dwayne Roloson to Tampa Bay. He played 20 games with the Islanders after the deal, scoring 1 goal and adding 4 assists along with 10 PIM.
Reese, who turns 27 next month, was acquired from Columbus late in the 2009-10 season. He had 6 assists and 15 PIM in 27 games with the Islanders last season after going 2-2-4 with New York in 2009-10.
