It's another playoff edition of the Islanders Prospect Report. Kieffer Bellows and Arnaud Durandeau both trail in their respective second round series' while Ilya Sorokin and CSKA prep for the KHL Final. Read that and more in this week's report.

Game four goes Thursday night in Portland, as the Winterhawks look to even the series.
Bellows has 12 points (3G, 9A) in 10 playoff games, which ties Cody Glass for the team lead.

DURANDEAU, HALIFAX PUSHED TO THE BRINK:

Arnaud Durandeau and the Halifax Mooseheads are on the brink of elimination, as they trail the Charlottetown Islanders 3-0 in the second round of the QMJHL playoffs.
Durandeau has four assists through the first three games of the series, but his production hasn't helped Halifax get over the hump. The Islanders' 2017 sixth-round pick has 12 points (5G, 7A) in eight playoff games, which leads the Moosheads and is tied for fifth in the QMJHL playoffs.
Durandeau had a pair of helpers in game one, a 4-3 OT loss to the Islanders. The next two games weren't as close on the scoreboard, as Charlottetown took a 7-4 win in game two and a 5-2 win in game three as the series shifted to Prince Edward Island.
The Mooseheads will look to keep their season alive on Wednesday night, as game four gets underway at 6 p.m. eastern time.

SOROKIN HEADING TO KHL FINAL:

Ilya Sorokin and CSKA Moscow will play Ak Bars Kazan for the Gagarin Cup, as CSKA advanced to the KHL Final on Sunday.
CKSA beat rival SKA St. Petersburg in six games in the Western Conference Final to advance to their second KHL Final in three seasons. CSKA lost in seven games to Metallurg Magnitogorsk in 2016.
It wasn't all smooth sailing for Sorokin, as the Islanders 2014 third-round pick didn't play in game five and was pulled in game six after allowing two goals on the first two shots he faced.
It's unclear whether Sorokin or backup Lars Johansson will start game one against Ak Bars. Sorokin was lights out to start the postseason, recording five shutouts in his first six playoff games, but Johansson has won two straight, including a 1-0 shutout win over SKA in game five.
Sorokin is 9-4-0 with a 1.45 goals-against average, a .934 save percentage and five shutouts this postseason.

QUENNEVILLE SIGNS ELC:

After posting a career-year with 80 points in 70 games - good enough to lead all WHL defensemen - David Quenneville inked an entry-level deal with the Islanders on Friday.
Quenneville, the Islanders 2016 seventh-round pick, signed an ATO (Amateur Tryout) with the Bridgeport Sound Tigers on Sunday allowing him to finish the season in the American Hockey League.
The Edmonton, Alberta native and Tigers alternate captain notched 214 points (69 goals, 145 assists) in 251 career games, becoming the highest scoring defenseman in Medicine Hat franchise history.
