Collin Adams scored four points (2G, 2A) in three games last week, en route to being named the USHL's Forward of the Week. Per USHL:
Adams scored a goal in Muskegon's 3-0 shutout at Team USA on Monday before adding a goal and two assists in the Lumberjacks 7-4 victory over the Green Bay Gamblers on Friday. With those four points, Adams is now second in USHL scoring with 38 points (19G, 19A). His 19 goals are second among all USHL players, while his 19 helpers are tied for the eighth-most in the league. This is Adams' second Forward of the Week honor this season, as he previously earned the award on Oct. 10, 2016.
The North Dakota commit is in his second full USHL season and has 99 points (46G, 53A) in 96 career games. A native of Brighton, MI, Adams was named to the U.S. Junior Select Team for the World Junior A Challenge and won a gold medal with Team USA. He was selected in the sixth round, 170th overall by the New York Islanders at the 2016 NHL Draft after a year in which he was named to the USHL All-Rookie first team and was second among USHL rookies in scoring. Adams was selected in the fourth round, 49th overall by Muskegon in the 2014 USHL Phase I Draft and previously played for Honeybaked (HPHL) and Little Caesars (HPHL).
