ISKHAKOV DEBUTS IN NORTH AMERICA:

Russian prospect Ruslan Iskhakov, the Islanders 2018 second-round pick (43rd overall) recorded two points (1G, 1A) in his North American debut on Friday. Iskhakov, who committed to UConn after spending last season in Russia's MHL, netted a goal and an assist in the Huskies' 5-2 win over Army.
Islanders fans can watch Iskhakov on Tuesday night on ESPN+ as UConn takes on Quinnipiac. Iskhakov will also go head-to-head with Isles 2017 third-round pick Ben Mirageas on Friday, as UConn takes on Providence.


GOLYSHEV HURT:

Anatoly Golyshev missed his fourth straight game after suffering an injury on Oct. 5. The Islanders 2016 fourth-round pick (95th overall) had nine goals in 14 games to start the season.
