Irving's 25-save performance lifts Everett past Medicine Hat 4-1 @NHLdotcom

MEDICINE HAT, Alta. - Leland Irving stopped 25 shots and four different Silvertips scored in Everett's 4-1 win over the Medicine Hat Tigers in Western Hockey League action on Tuesday night.

The Tigers (12-6-2-0) lost their third straight, all at home, while the Silvertips (11-7-0) won their third straight on their extended road trip through the Central division. Tigers forward Tyler Ennis opened the scoring at the 1:43 mark of the first period, but Silvertips defenceman Dane Crowley tied it up 1-1 with a power-play goal late in the period.

Zach Hamill put the Silvertips up 2-1 late in the second on a man advantage, and teammates Kyle Beach and Zack Dailey scored in the third.

Tiger goaltender Tomas Vosvrda stopped 21 shots to earn the victory.

Everett scored three times on eight power-play chances, and held the Tigers scoreless on nine chances with the extra man.
