Iowa Wild down Bulldogs 5-3, snapping Hamilton's six-game win streak @NHLdotcom

HAMILTON - Jonathon Blum had a pair of goals as the Iowa Wild halted the Hamilton Bulldogs' six-game win streak with a 5-3 victory on Friday in American Hockey League action.

Brady Brassart and Kurtis Gabriel each added a goal and an assist for the Wild (17-29-2), while Zack Phillips scored the other.

Daniel Carr struck twice for the Bulldogs (22-18-6) and Jarred Tinordi added a single goal.

Iowa's Darcy Kuemper made 23 saves for the win as Joey MacDonald stopped 20-of-24 shots for Hamilton.

The Wild went 0 for 2 on the power play while the Bulldogs failed to earn an opportunity for the man advantage.
