WINNIPEG - Contrary to last night, the Moose outshot the Chops 29-18 but were unable to outscore their opponents, dropping their first home game in nine games, 4-3 to Iowa.

Mario Bliznak, Michael Grabner and Pierre-Cedric Labrie were credited with the three Moose goals while goaltender Karl Goehring stopped 15 shots in front of 10,755 fans at the MTS Centre.

Three minutes and three shots on Chops goaltender Jean-Phillipe Levasseur gave the Moose (15-4-0-0) their first goal of the game with an unassisted snipe by Mario Bliznak.

Levasseur made 25 saves in the win for the Chops (12-7-1-1).

Dingle had two goals for the Chops and Joakim Lindstrom and Andrew Ebbet added the other markers.

With a minute left in the game and Goehring out of his net, the Moose battled to earn another goal, but six attackers couldn't do the trick.
