Insam has two goals as IceDogs take 2-1 series lead over 67's @NHLdotcom

ST. CATHARINES, Ont. - Marco Insam scored twice and added an assist as the Niagara IceDogs beat the Ottawa 67's 5-3 in Ontario Hockey League playoff action Tuesday.

Niagara took a 2-1 lead in the first-round series. Game 4 is Thursday in St. Catharines. Alex Friesen had a goal and two assists for the IceDogs, while Matthew Sisca and Freddie Hamilton also scored.

Thomas Kiriakou, Ryan Martindale and Tyler Toffoli replied for Ottawa.

Jeremy Smith made 34 saves for Niagara while Chris Perugini and Adam Courchaine combined for 36 saves for Ottawa.
