Inglis scores shoot-out winner as the Cougars defeat the Thunderbirds @NHLdotcom

SEATTLE - Charlis Inglis tied the game with 39 seconds left in regulation and then scored the only goal in a shootout to lead the Prince George Cougars over the Seattle Thunderbirds 3-2 on Friday in Western Hockey League action.

Greg Fraser also scored for Prince George (6-17-2).

Jacob Doty and Marcel Noebels scored for Seattle (10-11-1).

Drew Owsley made 32 saves for the win while Calvin Pickard stopped 26 shots in defeat.

The Cougars couldn't score on five power plays while Seattle went 1-for-6 with the man advantage.
