IceDogs use their power play to beat the Wolves 3-1 @NHL

ST CATHARINES, Ont. - The Niagara IceDogs used their top-ranked power play to defeat the Sudbury Wolves 3-1 on Saturday night in Ontario Hockey League action.

Niagara (19-12-3) scored all three of their goals with the man-advantage.

Brock Beukeboom scored his first as a member of the IceDogs while Steven Shipley and Alex Friesen scored the others.

Alex Racino scored the lone goal for Sudbury (17-12-1).

Chris Festarini made 31 saves to pick up the win for the IceDogs, while Joel Vienneau made 26 stops in the loss for the Wolves.

Niagara finished the game 3-for-5 on the power play while Sudbury was 0-for-5.
