Ian Duval scores two goals, including winner, as Calgary edges Kamloops 4-3 @NHLdotcom

CALGARY (CP) - Ian Duval had two goals, including the game winner, to lead the Calgary Hitmen to a 4-3 win over the Kamloops Blazers in Western Hockey League action Sunday afternoon.

Defenceman Karl Alzner scored once and added two assists for the Hitmen (32-22-3-4), who went 4-for-8 on the power play. WHL leading scorer Ryan White (79 points) chipped in with a goal and an assist, while Robin Figren had two assists.

Ray Macias, Ivan Rohac and Brenden Dowd scored for the Blazers (38-18-2-1), who led 3-2 in the third period before the Hitmen rallied for the victory in front of 13,795 fans at the Pengrowth Saddledome.

Hitmen goaltender Dan Spence made 25 saves to improve his record to 24-19-4, while Kamloops goalie Dustin Butler stopped 19 shots at the other end.
