Hutchings scores once, adds three assists as Barrie routs Peterborough 7-2

BARRIE, Ont. - Alex Hutchings had a goal and three assists as the Barrie Colts rolled to a 7-2 win over the Peterborough Petes on Saturday night in the Ontario Hockey League.

Michael Sgarbossa and Ryan O'Connor each had a goal and two assists for the Colts (18-15-1-1), who earned their fifth straight win in their final game before the OHL's holiday break.

Ryan Gottschalk, Daniel Michalsky, Adam Payerl and Taylor Carnevale added singles in the one-sided win, while Peter Di Salvo stopped 33 shots in the victory.

Tony Romano and Brett Theberge replied for the Petes (15-20-0-3), now winless in four.

Ryan Daniels made 34 saves in defeat for Peterborough.
