The Carolina Hurricanes and New York Rangers will play Game 7 of the Eastern Conference Second Round at PNC Arena in Raleigh, North Carolina, on Monday (8 p.m. ET; ESPN, SN, TVAS).

The winner will advance to the Eastern Conference Final and play the two-time defending Stanley Cup champion Tampa Bay Lightning, who swept the Florida Panthers to win their best-of-7 second-round series.
The home team has won every game in the series, including
New York's 5-2 victory in Game 6
at Madison Square Garden on Saturday.
"It's obviously right now a little frustrating that we couldn't close it out, but we'll forget about this pretty quickly and we have a lot of confidence at home like our record shows (7-0)," Hurricanes defenseman Brady Skjei said.
"We did this last series like I said. We come into every game with confidence, and being at home obviously has been way better for us, but if we play our game and we play sound defensively and limit their chances, stay out of the penalty box, I like our chances."
The Hurricanes (54-20-8) or Rangers (52-24-6) will have home-ice advantage in the conference final because each had a better record than the Lightning (51-23-8) in the regular season.

The Hurricanes/Hartford Whalers are 6-3 in Game 7 but 6-0 since relocating from Hartford in 1997. Carolina is 3-0 at home, including a 3-2 win against the Boston Bruins in the first round.
Derek Stepan is 6-1 in seven Game 7s in his NHL career, all for the Rangers. Ian Cole (4-3) also has played seven, and Jordan Staal (4-2) has played six, scoring three goals.
Coach Rod Brind'Amour is 2-0.
Antti Raanta made 27 saves against the Bruins in the first round this season, his lone Game 7. Frederik Andersen (injured) is 0-4 with a 4.16 goals-against average and .856 save percentage in four Game 7s for the Anaheim Ducks and Toronto Maple Leafs.
"Game 7s are Game 7s," Staal said. "Obviously, it's a big match and we are comfortable [at home], but we're going to need everyone. It's not easy. From the goalie all the way out, everyone's going to have to show up and be ready to battle and obviously be sharp in our details and our puck battles and all that stuff. We're going to need everyone to win that Game 7, for sure."
The Rangers are 10-6 in Game 7, including 2-5 on the road. They defeated the Pittsburgh Penguins 4-3 in overtime in the first round at Madison Square Garden.
Forward Chris Kreider has played in seven Game 7s, all with the Rangers (6-1), with two points (one goal, one assist). Justin Braun also has played in seven (4-3), and Ryan Reaves (3-1) has played in four.
Igor Shesterkin made 39 saves in the win against the Penguins in the first round, his only Game 7.
Coach Gerard Gallant is 1-1.
"We have to play how we play at home," Rangers forward Filip Chytil said. "I don't know what the difference is for us to play on the road. In the first series, we found a way to win in Pittsburgh. It's a Game 7 now. We have to find a way to win the game and just play how we play at home. I know they have good fans, they have the building over there where they're used to, but we have to play hard, we have to play our game and don't focus on any other thing. Just focus on the game and I think we can win the game."
Carolina last advanced to the conference final in 2019, losing to Boston in four games. New York last reached that round in 2015, losing to Tampa Bay in seven games.
