Hurricanes' Karmanos to appear on 'NHL Hour'

Carolina Hurricanes owner Peter Karmanos Jr. will be tomorrow's guest on NHL Hour With Commissioner Gary Bettman on NHL.com and SIRIUS XM Radio at 6 p.m. ET.

The Hurricanes and RBC Center are set to host their first NHL All-Star Game this weekend. The excitement begins on Friday, Jan. 28 with the first-ever All-Star player draft -- the NHL All-Star Player Fantasy Draft powered by Cisco will be televised nationwide on VERSUS in the United States and TSN and RDS in Canada beginning at 8 p.m. ET. The Honda NHL SuperSkills will take place at RBC Center on Saturday followed by the League's mid-season spectacular, the 58th NHL All-Star Game presented by Discover on Sunday, Jan. 30.

The Hurricanes will have four players represented in the Honda NHL SuperSkills competition and the NHL All-Star Game presented by Discover. Team captain Eric Staal, goaltender Cam Ward and first-year sensation Jeff Skinner will participate in the game while rookie defenseman Jamie McBain will join his teammates to take part in the Saturday night skills competition.

broadcasts live on Thursdays from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m. ET on NHL Home Ice (XM Channel 204 and on SIRIUS Channel 208 as part of the "Best of XM" programming package) and NHL.com. The show will re-air on SIRIUS XM Radio, with archived shows available for download via podcast on NHL.com.
