Hurricanes forward Carter Bancks named Player of the Week @NHLdotcom

CALGARY - Forward Carter Bancks of the Lethbridge Hurricanes was named WHL Player of the Week on Monday.

Bancks netted four goals in two playoff games over the last week, helping the Lethbridge Hurricanes win the Eastern Conference Championship series over the Calgary Hitmen 4-0.

With the Hurricanes leading the series 2-0, Bancks scored two goals, including the game-winner, as the Hurricanes took a 3-0 series lead with a 6-0 victory over the Hitmen.

Bancks had another two-goal performance in Game 4, as the Hurricanes defeated Hitmen 4-2 and advance to the WHL Championship series.

The Lethbridge Hurricanes will now face off against either the Spokane Chiefs or Tri-City Americans in the WHL Championship series.
