RALEIGH, NC – Ron Francis, Executive Vice President and General Manager of the National Hockey League’s Carolina Hurricanes, today announced that the team agreed to terms with forward Justin Shugg on a one-year, two-way contract. The deal will pay Shugg $600,000 at the NHL level, or $85,000 at the American Hockey League (AHL) level in 2015-16, with a guarantee of $100,000.
