forward Craig Adams
has been suspended for two games, without pay, as a result of a high-sticking incident during NHL game #490 against the Toronto Maple Leafs
on Dec. 18, the National Hockey League announced today.
Adams was assessed a minor penalty for high-sticking after a hit on Toronto forward Alex Steen
at 16:05 of the third period.
Under the terms of the Collective Bargaining Agreement, and based on his average annual salary, Adams will forfeit $6,417.12. The money goes to the Players’ Emergency Assistance Fund.
Adams will miss Thursday's game at Florida and Dec. 22 at Tampa Bay. He will be eligible to return Dec. 26 at New York Rangers
