Defenseman Matt Hunwick scored 4:20 into overtime in the Toronto Maple Leafs' 3-2 preseason win against the Montreal Canadiens at Air Canada Centre on Sunday.
Canadiens left wing Daniel Carr erased a 2-1 deficit at 19:42 of the third period. Center Daniel Audette scored 13:20 into the game off defenseman Nathan Beaulieu's fourth assist of the preseason. Defensemen Nikita Zaitsev and Morgan Rielly had goals for the Maple Leafs. Zaitsev tied it at 9:19 of the second period before Rielly gave the Maple Leafs the lead 7:35 into the third. Jhonas Enroth started in goal for the Maple Leafs and stopped seven of eight shots. Garrett Sparks relieved him with 9:12 remaining in the second period and finished with 17 saves. Canadiens goalie Mike Condon made 28 saves.
