Hughesman's four points help Americans handle Prince Albert 4-1 @NHLdotcom

KENNEWICK, Wash. - Adam Hughesman had a goal and three assists and goalie Drew Owsley turned back 26 shots as the Tri-City Americans defeated the Prince Albert Raiders 4-1 in Western Hockey League action Friday night.

Americans teammate Brendan Shinnimin added a goal and two assists to keep up his torrid scoring pace early in the season. Shinnimin now has 19 points (7 goals, 12 assists) in nine games for Tri-City (7-2-0)

Jarrett Toll and Jordan Messier scored Tri-City's other goals.

Jordan Hickmott had the lone goal for the Raiders (5-8-0), who finished their 10-day road trip through the U.S. Division with a 1-5 record.

Prince Albert goalie Garrett Zemlak had 31 saves.
