Hudon scores winner as Bulldogs edge Monsters in OT 4-3

HAMILTON - Charles Hudon scored at 5:51 of overtime as the Hamilton Bulldogs came from behind to defeat the visiting Lake Erie Monsters 4-3 on Saturday in American Hockey League play.

Daniel Carr, Christian Thomas and Jacob de la Rose also scored for the Bulldogs (9-9-2), who trailed 3-2 after two periods of action.

Troy Bourke, Reid Petryk and Michael Schumacher supplied the offence for the Monsters (6-8-4).

Joey MacDonald made 19 saves for the win as Sami Aittokallio kicked out 41-of-45 shots in defeat.

Hamilton went 2 for 9 on the power play ? including Hudon's winner ? while Lake Erie failed to score on two chances with the man advantage.
