Jonathan Huberdeau scored two goals, and the Florida Panthers held on to defeat the Dallas Stars 3-2 after building a three-goal lead at BB&T Center on Tuesday.
Huberdeau scored at 13:01 of the first period and 38 seconds into the second to give Florida a 2-0 lead. Nick Bjugstad's power-play goal at 10:09 of the third period gave the Panthers a 3-0 lead.
Tyler Seguin and Jason Demers scored in the third for the Stars to make it a 3-2 game.
Jack Campbell played the entire game for the Stars and made 32 saves.
Roberto Luongo started for the Panthers and made saves on all 15 shots he faced in two periods before he was relieved by Mike McKenna (seven saves).
