Howse scores twice as Chilliwack rallies to ground the Winter Hawks 5-3

CHILLIWACK, B.C. - Ryan Howse led Chilliwack's third-period charge with two goals as the Bruins came back to down the Portland Winter Hawks 5-3 on Saturday night in the Western Hockey League.

Brandon Manning had a goal and two assists, while Kevin Sundher and Alexander Wiklund also scored for Chilliwack (16-46-2-5), which rallied from a 3-0 deficit and scored four goals in the third.

Troy Rutkowski, Chris Francis and Stefan Schneider replied for the Winter Hawks (17-46-2-2).

Lucas Gore made 28 saves for the Bruins. Portland netminder Ian Curtis stopped 38 shots.
