The Nashville Predators will try to extend their win streak to double digits tonight as the Anaheim Ducks come to town. After returning home from a four-game road trip, the Preds shut out Dallas on Tuesday to collect their ninth-straight victory and set a franchise record.
Predators Captain Roman Josi, who is day-to-day with an upper-body injured, participated in an optional ice session on Wednesday morning in Nashville. Josi has missed the past three games with the ailment.
With 95 points in the standings, the Predators have surpassed their point total from last season with 16 games still to play on the regular-season schedule. No matter the circumstances, Nashville has found ways to win over the past two-and-a-half weeks to build a confidence that is infectious at the moment.
