Following back-to-back home wins over the Senators and Hurricanes to move within three points of the second wild-card spot, the Lightning hit the road to face the Pittsburgh Penguins on Friday night at 7.

This is the last of three meetings between the 2016 Eastern Conference Finalists this regular season. Tampa Bay dropped both previous decisions on Dec. 10 and Jan. 8.
The Penguins, who were trade partners with the Lightning at Wednesday's deadline, acquiring defenseman Mark Streit from the Bolts for a 2018 fourth-round draft pick, have lost two consecutive games. At 38-16-8, Pittsburgh currently sits third in the Metropolitan Division behind the Capitals and Blue Jackets.
