Houser makes 21 saves as Knights blank Spitfires 3-0 in Game 1

LONDON, Ont. - Michael Houser stopped all 21 shots he faced as the London Knights shutout the visiting Windsor Spitfires 3-0 on Friday in Ontario Hockey League playoff action.

Vladislav Namestnikov had a goal and an assist for the top-seeded Knights, Bo Horvat and Jared Knight each scored once while Scott Harrington chipped in with two assists.

Spitfires' goaltender Jaroslav Pavelka stopped 33 of 36 shots in a losing effort.

London went 1 for 5 on the power play as Windsor failed to score with six chances on the man advantage.

The Knights have a 1-0 series lead with Game 2 to be played on Sunday in Windsor.
