Horrell named Central Hockey League's player of week @NHL

TEMPE, Ariz. - Goalie Jon Horrell of the Bossier-Shreveport Mudbugs was named the Central Hockey League's player of the week Tuesday after shutting out his former team.

Horrell stopped 31 shots in a 1-0 win over the Wichita Thunder, including 12 in the third period. The native of Beckenham, England, is 3-0-1 with a 2.42 goals-against average and .915 save percentage this season.
