Horak scores winner as Chilliwack ekes out 4-3 OT win over Tri-City @NHLdotcom

KENNEWICK, Wash. - Roman Horak scored 7:16 into overtime as the Chilliwack Bruins rallied to beat the Tri-City Americans 4-3 and extend their Western Hockey League playoff series to six games.

Alex Wiklund scored twice for the Bruins, while Ryan Howse added a single. Lucas Gore made 44 saves.

Brooks Macek had a pair of goals for Tri-City, and another from Kruise Reddick. Sergei Drozd and Tyler Schmidt each had two assists and Drew Owsley stopped 30 shots.

The Americans lead the series 3-2. Chilliwack will host Game 6 on Sunday night.

Gore went to the bench with 1:45 left in regulation and Howse put the puck in the net in the midst of a scramble to tie the game at 3 with 1:34 left in regulation to force overtime.
