LETHBRIDGE, Alta. - Graham Hood scored his second of the game 21 seconds into overtime as the Lethbridge Hurricanes beat the Calgary Hitmen 6-5 in Western Hockey League action Wednesday.
Hurricanes captain Cam Braes scored his third of the game with 25 seconds left in regulation to send the game to overtime.
Jaimen Yakubowski also scored for the Hurricanes (12-22-1).
Brady Brassart scored twice for the Hitmen (17-13-3), who trailed 4-2 after two periods but responded with three straight goals. Jimmy Bubnick, Kenton Helgesen and Cody Sylvester also scored for Calgary, while Victor Rask had three assists.
Damien Ketlo stopped 42 shots for Lethbridge as the Hitmen tied a season high with 47 shots on goal.
Chris Driedger made 22 saves for Calgary.
