Holowenko makes 36 saves to lead the Raiders over the Blades 5-2 @NHL

PRINCE ALBERT, Sask. - Cole Holowenko stopped 36 shots as his Prince Albert Raiders defeated the Saskatoon Blades 5-2 on Thursday in Western Hockey League action.

Mark McNeill, Mike Winther and Kellan Tochkin each had a goal and an assist for the Raiders (14-22-3) while Matt Waseylenko and Brandon Herrod scored the others.

Lukas Sutter had a goal and an assist for the Blades (20-16-1) as Duncan Siemens chipped in a single goal.

Alex Moodie turned aside 27 shots in a losing effort.

Neither team could score with the power play as Prince Albert went 0-for-4 and Saskatoon 0-for-6.

The Raiders have now won five straight and picked up a point in nine of their last 10 games.
