Holberg and Baldwin with a goal and assist each as the Chiefs down the Warriors 5-2 @NHLdotcom

SPOKANE, Wash. - Mitch Holmberg and Corbin Baldwin had a goal and an assist each as the Spokane Chiefs defeated the visiting Moose Jaw Warriors 5-2 on Friday in Western Hockey League action.

Blake Gal, Dominik Uher and Todd Fiddler also scored for the Chiefs (18-13-5).

Torrin White and Cody Beach responded for the Warriors (24-12-5), who dropped their third straight game.

Mac Engel made 24 saves for the win while Spencer Tremblay turned aside 34 shots in defeat.

Spokane went 0 for 3 on the power play as Moose Jaw failed to score on their only opportunity with the man advantage.
