Hodgson has two helpers, shootout winner for Brampton in 4-3 win over Petes

PETERBOROUGH, Ont. - Cody Hodgson set up the tying goal and scored the only marker in the shootout to lift the Brampton Battalion over the Peterborough Petes 4-3 on Saturday night in Ontario Hockey League action.

Hodgson had two assists in regulation, setting up Thomas Stajan's first-period goal and Sam Carrick's third-period power-play marker, which tied the score 3-3. Josh Shalla also scored for Brampton (9-6-0-0).

Yves Bastien, Zack Kassian and Zach Hamden replied for the Petes (7-10-0-1).

Brandon Foote made 32 saves for the Battalion, while Peterborough netminder Jason Missiaen stopped 31 shots.
