Hodgman, Biggers and O'Reilly lead Erie over Peterborough 5-2

ERIE, Pa. - Justin Hodgman had a goal and two assists, while Brandon Biggers and Ryan O'Reilly added two points apiece to lead the Erie Otters to a 5-2 win over the Peterborough Petes on Friday night in the Ontario Hockey League.

Erie's power play added to its 2-for-2 effort against the Barrie Colts on Wednesday. The unit scored on its first two opportunities and finished 2-for-3, giving the Otters (9-9-1-0) four goals in their last five chances.

Sean Jones and Tyler Hostetter added goals for Erie, while David Quesnele and Brett Theberge replied for the Petes (8-11-0-1),

Jaroslav Janus made 27 saves and has won eight of his last 10 starts.

Peterborough goaltender Jason Missiaen stopped 35 shots in his first start since the club traded Trevor Cann to the London Knights.
