Hoban's power-play goal in third period leads Swift Current past Medicine Hat @NHLdotcom

SWIFT CURRENT, Sask. - Brad Hoban's power-play goal with 5:16 left in regulation lifted the Swift Current Broncos to a 3-2 win over the Medicine Hat Tigers in WHL action Friday.

Jordan Peddle's first of the season and Michael Stickland's first-period power-play goal provided the rest of the offence for the Broncos (21-17-2). Mark Friesen earned the win with 32 saves.

Joey Frazer had both goals for the Tigers (23-12-7), while Tyler Bunz turned aside 22 shots in defeat.
