Hitmen extend winning streak to six games by defeating the Warriors 5-2 @NHLdotcom

CALGARY - Trevor Cheek scored once and set up two more as the Calgary Hitmen defeated the visiting Moose Jaw Warriors 5-2 on Friday in Western Hockey League action.

Brady Brassart had a goal and an assist for the Hitmen (23-16-3), who have won six straight, while Cody Sylvester, Rob Trzonkowski and Collin Bowman scored a goal each.

Travis Brown and Shayne Gwinner scored for the Warriors (25-13-5).

Brandon Glover made 27 saves for the win as Luke Siemens stopped 23 shots in defeat.

The power play was never a factor as Calgary didn't recieve a chance with the man advantage all game and Moose Jaw went 0 for 2.
