Hishon registers three points to power Owen Sound to a 4-1 win over Erie @NHLdotcom

OWEN SOUND, Ont. - Joey Hishon had a three point night, notching two goals and one assist to lead the Owen Sound Attack to a 4-1 victory over the Erie Otters on Saturday night in the Ontario Hockey League.

Hishon opened the scoring five minutes into the first period and added a short-handed marker midway through the third to bring his goal total to 12 so far this season, two behind league-leader John Tavares.

Marc Franchini and David Kolomatis also scored for the Attack (4-4-2-1), while Zack Torquato scored the lone goal for Erie (4-7-1-0).

Tyler Beskorowany made 39 saves in the Owen Sound win. Otters netminder Shane Owen stopped 45 shots.
