Hewitt makes 33 saves for first career WHL shutout as Pats blank Wheat Kings 2-0 @NHL

BRANDON, Man. - Matt Hewitt made 33 saves to earn his first career Western Hockey League shutout as the Regina Pats blanked the Brandon Wheat Kings 2-0 on Sunday night at Westman Place.

Dominik Volek and Jordan Weal scored for the Pats (15-12-2), who won their second straight. Weal now has 14 goals on the season.

Corbin Boes made 29 saves for Brandon (18-11-2).
