Hershey erases early deficit, comes from behind to beat St. John's 4-2

HERSHEY, Pa. - Justin Peters made 23 saves and the Hershey Bears erased an early deficit to come from behind and defeat the St. John's IceCaps 4-2 on Saturday in American Hockey League action.

Darren Dietz and Charles Hudon scored to put the IceCaps (6-3-2) up 2-0 1:09 into the second period.

Garret Mitchell responded for the Bears (4-3-1) before the second was through to make it 2-1 after 40 minutes.

Liam O'Brien tied the game at 4:14 of the third period and then Paul Carey scored the eventual winner at 9:58 before Dustin Gazley added another into an empty net.

Zachary Fucale turned away 26-of-29 shots for St. John's.

Both clubs went 0 for 3 on the power play.
