Herrod nets two goals as Raiders win 4-3 over Moose Jaw @NHL

MOOSE JAW, Sask. - Brandon Herrod scored twice as the Prince Albert Raiders hung on for a 4-3 win over the Moose Jaw Warriors in Western Hockey League action Wednesday night.

Herrod's eventual game-winner put the Raiders up 4-1 early in the second period as Ryan Harrison and Jordan Hickmott also scored for the visitors. The Warriors tried to rally with a pair of second-period power-play goals, but came up short.

Jason Bast, Thomas Frazee and Travis Hamonic scored for the Warriors (16-40-1-2).

Steven Stanford made 22 saves for the Raiders (27-31-3-1), while Jeff Bosch stopped 21 shots for the Warriors.
