New York Rangers goalie Henrik Lundqvist took an unusual delay of game penalty Thursday against the Pittsburgh Penguins.
With 13:43 remaining in the second period, Lundqvist was run into by teammate Ryan McDonagh but appeared to think Penguins forward Patric Hornqvist had bumped him. Lundqvist appeared to be shaken up but a whistle was not blown, so the goalie knocked the net off its moorings and received a two-minute delay of game penalty.

The Penguins did not score on the power play.
