Harper sets record, Everett Silvertips beat Kamloops Blazers 5-2 in WHL action @NHLdotcom

KAMLOOPS, B.C. - Forward Shayne Harper scored once, setting a franchise record, to help the Everett Silvertips to a 5-2 victory over the Kamloops Blazers in Western Hockey League play Tuesday night.

Harper scored the game's first goal. It was his 39th of the season, breaking the franchise record set by John Lammers in 2005-06.

Clayton Cumiskey, Zack Dailey, Dan Iwanski and Scott MacDonald also scored for Everett (42-19-5).

Mark Hall and Austin Madaisky replied for Kamloops (30-32-6).

Everett goaltender Thomas Heemskerk stopped 38 shots, while Jon Groenheyde of the Blazers turned aside 24 in defeat.
