Harper has two goals and an assist for Everett, Ice lose fourth straight @NHLdotcom

CRANBROOK, B.C. - Shane Harper had two goals and an assist as the Everett Silvertips beat the Kootenay Ice 4-1 in Western Hockey League action Wednesday night.

Everett opened the scoring after Harper scored on a 3-on-1 break.

Everett added two power-play goals in the final minute of the second period.

On a two-man advantage, defenceman Rasmus Rissanen scored on a one-timed shot.

Then, with less than one second to go in the period, Chris Langkow scored on a breakaway after receiving a pass from Kellan Tochkin.

Matt Fraser scored fir the Ice on a one timer after receiving a pass from Steele Boomer.

Harper capped the scoring into an empty net.

Thomas Heemskerk made 22 saves for Everett (7-4-0).

Todd Mathews made 26 saves for the Ice (5-11-0), who have lost four games in a row.

The attendance of 2,402 was the lowest in regular-season history at Cranbrook's Rec-Plex.
