Hamonic, Paradis score in first period as Moose Jaw edges Kamloops 2-1 @NHLdotcom

MOOSE JAW, Sask. - Travis Hamonic and Jesse Paradis scored first-period goals as the Moose Jaw Warriors hung on to beat the Kamloops Blazers 2-1 Tuesday in Western Hockey League action.

The Warriors (9-4-0) have now won four straight games and have regained the East Division lead.

Tyler Shattock replied with a power-play goal for the Blazers (8-4-2).

Kamloops goalie Justin Leclerc was outstanding as he made 35 saves to keep the Blazers in the game.
