Hamilton scores hat trick to lead the IceDogs over the 67's 5-1 @NHLdotcom

OTTAWA - Freddie Hamilton scored three times as the Niagara Icedogs defeated the host Ottawa 67's 5-1 on Friday in Ontario Hockey League action.

Andrew Agozzino and Joel Wigle also scored for the IceDogs (43-18-3), who now hold a three-point lead over Ottawa for first in the Eastern Conference.

Shane Prince scored the lone goal for the 67's (39-17-8), who lost in regulation time for the first time in five outings.

Mark Visentin made 29 saves for the win while Petr Mrazek turned away 42 shots in a losing effort.

Both clubs went 0 for 2 on the power play.
