Hamill delivers five-point as Silvetips down Thunderbirds, 8-4 @NHLdotcom

EVERETT, Wash. - Zach Hamill had a five-point night, leading the Everett Silvertips to an 8-4 victory over the Seattle Thunderbirds on Saturday night in WHL action.

Hamill had three goals and two assists as Everett snapped its jinx against the T-birds. Seattle won the first six meetings between the teams this season.

Dan Gendur added two goals and two assists for Everett (34-25-0-2), which won its fifth straight.

Jordan Mistelbacher, Graham Potuer and Zack Dailey also scored for the Silvertips.

Greg Scott, Sena Acolatse, Scott Jackson and David Richard scored for Seattle (31-20-5-2).
