Hall's two goals help Spitfires complete sweep of Otters with 5-1 win

ERIE, Pa. - Taylor Hall scored twice for the third straight game as the Windsor Spitfires finished off the Erie Otters with a 5-1 win Thursday night in Ontario Hockey League playoff action.

Windsor swept the Otters to take another step towards defending their OHL championship and securing a second consecutive berth in the Memorial Cup.

Hall has 10 points (six goals, four assists) in four games and is tied with Nazem Kadri of the London Knights for the playoff scoring lead. He opened the scoring on the power play eight minutes into the game and added another power-play goal in the second period.

Eric Wellwood, Scott Timmins and Adam Wallace also scored for the Spitfires, while Zack Kassian added three assists. Anthony Luciani had the lone goal for Erie.

Philipp Grubauer made 24 saves for Windsor, while Otters netminder Ramis Sadikov stopped 31 shots.
