TORONTO (AP) -The Hockey Hall of Fame has opened its doors to four new members.
Igor Larionov, Glenn Anderson, linesman Ray Scapinello and the family of the late Ed Chynoweth were presented with Hall of Fame rings during a ceremony Monday morning.
It marked the end of a long wait for Anderson, who has been eligible for induction since 1999. He won six Stanley Cups during his career and is fourth on the NHL's playoff scoring list.
Larionov starred for Soviet Union national teams that won two Olympic gold medals and went on to win three Stanley Cups with the Detroit Red Wings.
The official acceptance speeches will be made at an evening gala.
