Hackett made 32 saves as Plymouth Whalers blank Niagara IceDogs 3-0 @NHLdotcom

PLYMOUTH, Mich. - The Plymouth Whalers went 3-for-3 on the power play in blanking the Niagara IceDogs 3-0 in Ontario Hockey League action Saturday night .

Matt Hackett made 32 saves for the win in goal, while Ryan Hayes led the offensive attack with a goal and two assists.

Josh Brittain and Phil McRae, acquired from London last Sunday just prior to the OHL trade deadline, each tacked on a goal and an assist for the Whalers (25-20-1).

James Livingston, another trade deadline acquisition for the Whalers, assisted on McRae's goal for his first point in a Plymouth uniform since getting traded Sunday from Sault Ste. Marie.

John Chartrand stopped 32 shots for Niagara (14-26-5).
